These Tongs Can Take the Heat

Cook with the confidence that your tongs won’t wilt or melt under pressure. The classic OXO Good Grips Tongs are available with Silicone Heads, making them the ideal tool for any meal. The 9-inch or 12-inch Tongs feature stainless steel construction, soft non-slip grips with thumb rests and sturdy Silicone Heads. The Heads are heat resistant up to 300°C and safe to use with non-stick cookware. When you’re ready to put the Tongs away, pull the tab to lock closed for convenient storage. Dishwasher safe.

Build to last for ever
This tong by OXO is a must have for every kitchen. I got this to add it to my OXO collection and I cannot recommend this enough. The 30cm size is just perfect. Big enough to be effective enough to reach the end of an oven, but yet not big enough for your storage drawer. The heads are made with silicone which give you great grip on foods like vegetables, meats etc. I have been using them for some time now, and they still look like new. I have even dip them inside a hot boiling oil to stir potatoes. The grips are made of stainless steel with silicone padding on the sides to give you amazing control over flipping and gripping food. I have even used them outdoor on my grill without any problems. As always, very pleased with this OXO product and cannot recommend this enough, a must have for all kitchens.

    I have had three pairs of different sized stainless steel Oxo Tongs Good Grips for years. I needed tongs with Silicon ends for my Air Fryer so I bought the Oxo Good Grips Tongs again. They are not cheap, but very strong, heat resistant, easy to use and dishwasher safe. A very good buy!

Our classic Tongs now offer silicone heads that protect non-stick finishes. Heads are heat-resistant silicone, and work well for scraping pans without scratching. Like all OXO tongs, they lock for convenient storage and have just the right amount of tension for comfort. Also available in 30.4cm length.We only do the tongs with silicone heads and they have been on the market for years therefore I think we should change the start as this was written when launched years ago. I also think the description should promote that tongs are versitile and can be used for lots of tasks in the kitchen - like cookig, turning, serving etc etc scraping pans would not be a key feature.
